Aslan Mountain Homestay, named after the owners grandchild, is situated a little bit outside the city. You better ask the PECTA-Team for help to find this beautiful insider-spot. As you can see on the pictures, the Homestay is on a hill with a breathtaking view over the Panj river and Afghanistan. Enjoy some tea and buckwheat with egg on the terrace in the morning, or ask Odina for the binoculars so you can enjoy the view more detailed. This place is perfect to have a rest for some days without going far outside the city. The owner has a big garden, lots of trees and some nice little water canals flowing by. To reach this place, you will have to take a Mini-Bus and a 20-30 minutes walk. You won't need perfekt trekking shoes but sandals might be the wrong decision here.
The family offers sleeping-places in a beautiful traditional Pamiri-House. Price is 75 TJS B&B and 100 TJS FB.
